Had jury duty today and was lucky enough not to have to stay. Got outta there around lunch time and stopped by a place in the southern part of the county where i bowhunt in great canine country. Checked out some more hog holes and spotted another red den. This one is in no jeopardy from a farmer!
At first I thought it was a big hog hole until i noticed the bone yard around the hole! Turkey wings, song birds, some fur that I cant quite ID, on chicken leg and a deer head. Property owner has been seein one particular big female that I've seen for five years now with unmistakable marking, (aka Starburst Phil) She's got five pups and looks real healthy.
Gonna head down that way next week and set the cam along with a few hog snares.
