Completly different story this afternoon. 3pm till dark and did not see one deer.

Saturday afternoon I saw 15.. What the heck happened????:eek:

I bet your right. I never do good either. I just thought since I saw almost 30 deer on Saturday, that I would see a few today.

i saw deer at my place when i drove by at 5pm last night. i couldn't hunt but drove past. it was only does and fawns, but it was something.
i'm hunting tonight. i'm staying away from the field edges tonight and getting the woods. i think they are feeding on acorns in the timber until dark, when the moon comes up they are out in the fields all night long.

taking my daughter on her first bow hunt on friday. two person stand on a bean field, i hope they come out friday night.

full moon it seems that they eat at night and move rarely during the day. Plus remeber guys its still pretty hot out still they dont like the heat. :D
