We kinda know the good ones Mathwes,Hoyt,Parker.

What are the bad ones? Which models of the top brands to shy away from?

I'd prolly stay away from 10 year old $900 Parker bows...but that's just me. :razz:

Yeah you're right if vs. you. :bow: I'm hoping you're like Kyle Busch last year...awesome during the regular season but not so hot in the chase! :fight:

i think it was bowtec that had the limb recall.
i had a buddy that had one, till the limbs exploded.

yeah it was bowtech UB. I had a bowtech limb shatter right next to me. Scared the heck outta me!!

I shoot a 2007 bowtech guardian.Ive killed many a deer with.never had a problem.Is it possible the bow the shattered. wasn't properly maintained or possible dry fired in its past history

they wouldn't of recalled the bows if there wasn't a problem. the company knew this and paid huge money to recall their bows.
you are the lucky one my friend. you may have got a different batch of limbs, pre or post the problem batch.

I bought this bow new in '03. It's a very durable, quiet and fast bow (single cam). It seems like the bow manufacturers today are trying to tweak the new models almost to the breaking point (no pun intended). If I were in the market for a new hunting bow today, I would buy another single cam model. The simpler the better.

ive been shooting bowtech for years and never had anything go wrong:huh:
