had about 15 gobblers sounding this morning. at fly down we had three hens come right to the decoys. then a group of 6 jakes and gobblers came out to the field at 50 yards. i hit them with a soft yelp on the glass, pulled the fan up on the decoy. they came in spitting and strutting. shot was at 10 yards. 9 1/2" beard, 7/8 spurs

nice. make sure you don't leave the beard in a mouse infested area. i had to spend a little bit of time this morning making a replica of my turkeys beard because one of those little rats got mine.
