I'm around Snowshoe, Drifting area. Yeah we did some trout fishing too after we're done turkey hunting. We hit up 6 mile in Center Co. Did ok. If you wann do any good in those small mt streams prepare for some walking. We found a few hold overs from first stocking also some 4" natives! Now that was cool.
Turkey hunting wasen't the best. They goobled on the roost, but when they pitched they shut up right away. Never heard a bird alll morning long gobble off the roost. Did call in one hen to about 15 yds. It was nice to see something at least.

Up in 3C I saw three hens but the gobblers were not talking at all. I had one response late morning but never connected with him. :( All shots were first thing after daylight so those that had the roost spots scouted out apparently did well. Unfortunately we were only pot luck hunting in areas where we have seen the turkeys over the years. Weather was awesome though! Hope to get back up for another Saturday hunt in a couple of weeks.

Hunted Monday and Tuesday, First thing in the morning Monday, heard some gobbles way off. Set up on a field. Two jakes and one Tom show up with eight hens. Passed up on the Jakes. Tom stayed too far off. Gobbles stopped at 730am. Heard one more at 1215:mad: Set up on the field tuseday. I could see birds in thetrees along the field. Heard one gobble in the creek bed. Hens flew down at went right too him. Gobbled the whole way off the property I can hunt. Going back next week.:):):)
