went out this morning and just set up a folding chair and had my school clothes on under some warm camo. alls i heard was a desperate jake gobble about 11 times. the only problem is he was not on property where we can hunt. hopefully better luck tomorow. i got one on youth day now im tryin to get one for my dad.:thup:

went out again this morning before school again and boy were they gobblin. i am changing my whole aproach to gettin them. the spot that i had set up, the turkeys were filtering through everyday. sometimes twice a day..... the only problem was that that was 3 weeks ago.:mad: now i went out again and heard a big gobbler on the opposite side of the property. he was gobbling probably every 3 seconds. well than he shut up so i made a little yelp with my mouth and he answered than i did it again to make sure it was me he was gobblin at. he answered again. so then i waited their and listened. pretty soon i realized hewas following the path that led right to me. so i got out of there b4 he could spook from seeing me................... tomorrow couldn't come any sooner.:D:fight: :shoot::D
