Went out this am in Zone 16 heard a few gobbles early AM
saw 2 hens, no shooting

went back in the woods at ten called another bird in never saw him heard him and he sounded close well 12 comes around get out of my spot theres another turkey 40 yards to my right coming out of the woods running for its life im guessing the turkey didnt like my decoy and was coming in for me idk atleast im seeing birds went to winslow to resight my bow in and at twenty yards im 4 inches high fixed that problem so lets see what i can do tomorrow dont woory ace ill be able to get the head shot for pa's season

good job z man the turkey im after is probally 22 23 pound about a ten inch beard

Z-man thats a big turkey. Got one at 7:30 19 pounds 9 inch beard and 1 inch hooks. Today was the best gobbling I ever heard where I hunt during A week. Hammered all the way to flydown then picked up around 7:15. Good luck to everyone. I can't wait for B week!!

Heard alot of birds this morning but the place filled up with hunters right at sun up and spooked the birds. :mad: Pulled out at 8:20 and went on a run and gun across the street from my first set up. Had birds working all the way up until noon, but none close enough to shoot. Walking to my truck of course, I had a nice gobbler spook from the brush and run. He was big so I'll give it a whirl tomorrow morning. :rolleyes:

ive been practicing everyday but i sat in the rain for 4 hours to find out my bird is huddled up with three hens tried calling him in he didnt even look hopefully better luck tomorrow
