I never hunted there , but I'm sure there are a lot of birds around. I hunt the Delaware State Forest and the birds are everywhere. I have a pile of big tom's behind my house and I'll be there for the junior hunt with my newphew in a couple weeks.

I hunted SGL 127 for 25 years...not as much during the past few seasons as I have been hunting closer to home due to family commitments. You should try hunting more off of Route 423. Brady's lake is a lot more popular and gets much more attention. If you would like, PM me your email address and I will send you my contact info and give you some places to try. There are several old clear cuts off of 423 and they hold a lot of birds around the edges. There are also a mess of coyotes in the area. Good luck.
