Bugs/Ticks

Does anyone use any special type of clothing to guard against bugs, ticks, or a favorite spray? Also any reviews on the thermacell?

Treat your clothes with Permanone, stuff does wonders on keeping ticks and chiggers off of you, dries odorless and lasts a solid 2 weeks. Just do not spray on your skin.

For a good spray, something with a high percentage of Deet.

Thermacell is incredible. You can literally watch the area around you become void of mosquitoes upon turning it on. :bow:

personally i don't like the thermacell in my experience. it claims to shield an area of 15 feet but really its only like 5 feet if that. any way go to the thread THERMACELL in the HUNTING GEAR forum.

Permanone for the ticks on your clothes.

Thermocell for the mosquitos. I used this in mosquito city deer and turkey hunting in Fl and it's GREAT.

no special clothes just eat alot of garlic and onions, thats what i was told by my grandfather
