HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT THIS............. HAPPENING THIS SOON???????

This didn't take long!!!!!!!!!!!!

LET THE FIGHT BEGIN

Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009

It has already started....

Ammunition Accountability Legislation

Remember how Obama said that he wasn't going to take your guns? Well, it seems that his allies in the anti-gun world have no problem with taking your ammo!

The bill 20 that is being pushed in 18 states (including Illinois and Indiana ) requires all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacture a data base of all ammunition sales. So they will know how much you buy and what calibers.

Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009 unless the ammunition is coded.

Any privately held uncoded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011. (Including hand loaded ammo.)

They will also charge a .05 cent tax on every round so every box of ammo you buy will go up at least $2.50 or more!

If they can deprive you of ammo they do not need to take your gun!

This legislation is currently pending in 18 states: Alabama , Arizona , California , Connecticut , Hawaii , Illinois , Indiana , Kentucky , Maryland , Mississippi , Missouri , New Jersey , New York , Pennsylvania , Rhode Island , South Carolina , Tennessee , and Washington ..

Send to your friends in these states AND fight to dissolve this BILL!!

Criminals will still get plenty of ammo so I agree it'll only trap the idiots and maybe more domestic dispute type crimes. But if this helps solve and prosecute even some small % more of the gun crimes or murders then it's worth the small extra cost IMHO.

I really don't give a hoot if MY ammo is coded...nothing to hide here. ;)

I don't care if my ammo is coded but I do want to be able to re-load. This bill would wipe out the reloaders as well as a lot of re-loading supply companies. It will have very negligible effect on reducing crime. It is just the beginning of a major attack on our 2nd amendment rights by the liberals running our country.

My question is why couldn't the reload materials be coded prior to purchase as well?

The cost of coding reloading supplies would be out of sight. Like I said, they are attacking our 2nd amendment rights. They lost the battle in the Supreme Court on guns so they are taking a different tack. It's like the old Commie theory: " Two steps forward, one step back". Eventually, you achieve your objective. Let there be no doubt, the Obama administration is dedicated to taking away our guns. Just take a look at the people who supported him and the people he has appointed. 'Beware the Enemy Within"!!!!!!!!!

Deerslayer: Yes, the current bill is just for handguns. The NEXT one will be for rifles. Once they get their foot in the door, they will keep pushing for more. Also, there are a lot of hand gunners amongst us. Don't let them "divide and conquer".

If my only weapon is a Marlin 1894 lever that shoots .38 Spcl./.357 or .44Spcl..44 Magnum, I would be roped into the "handgun ammunition" pool as well. This law is another example of precipitated vagueness to obfuscate the real intent.

Gun registration is next, then these fascists will come for your guns. I will not let that happen. If that happens we'll be slaves to them. This must stop.
