What kind of dog? I had an invisble fence for two labs, they were a little strong headed but were broke with in two days. I bought it at home depot, it worked on the male after the first shot. He wouldn't move from the middle of the yard for about three days! The female was a little tougher but she came around after 3-4 days. After about a year they didn't even need a collar. Invisifence. Good stuff, just bury the wire with a garden hoe and youa re good to go.

how big is your yard? I have a maching that will bury the wire. That is the hardest thing. I could also give you some tips on training.
