Here's two drumfish I caught last spring in the Delaware Bay 68lbs. and 72lbs.

I see them float up on the del Bay beach now and then...freaking HUGE! :bow:

Are they any good to eat? :please:

Nice drum, haven't been for a few years. I mostly striper fish with friend. Hope to get after some drum this year.

I'm not an expert by any means, but I do know that the larger ones get worms. On the eastern shore my buddies only keep the ones 40lbs and under to avoid the worms. I have caught a few, smaller side, and they were delicious.

The worms won't hurt ya if you cook them thoroughly. And plenty of bread crumbs with hot grease. MMMM

the worms are found in the tail section and around the anal vent. just cut them out, your not losing that much meat.
the ribs are also good.
