Hey guys just starting a post here to see how the antlers are falling. Add any updates and pics of any sheds you find or deer you still see carrying. I plan on getting out in the next week or so and hopefully they're dropping some bone so i'm not wasting my time.

The only thing shedding around me is the dog hair on our sofa!

I found a nice half shed of potential 10pt a few years ago. I'll look up the pic and post it later.

Will head up to NE PA this weekend and maybe I'll get lucky again.

Good idea Alfa, I don't start really looking 'til late Feb. I have pushed groups of bucks third week of Feb before that all had their headgear intact. Never found one shed off of any of those bucks. I dont like going into where their bedding until I know that they should have dropped them. If I can wait until March and go into these areas once, I feal I'm not hurting my best chance at the sheds. Remember guys, beds, food, and trails connecting them. Beds being the best for me.

I just set two "shed traps" if you want to call them that. One, just burried a 5gal bucket with a thin layer of corn. Then the dumb buck sticks his head in to get the corn and I get the rack....thats what I hear anyway. Never did it befor. And the other one, told to me by an old wise man...well not too old....now that I think about it, not too wise either. But if you take some 6x6 wire, the kind used for Concrete. Take an 8 foot lenght and bend it in half. Attach it to a few trees in the shape of a V. Spike it to the ground and put corn at the point where the V is. Then same thing happens. Sticks his head in to get the corn and hits the wire fence. If it works, I will let you know. I did it over the weekend.

The pics on my trail cam still show the smaller bucks with horns, and some of the larger bucks with 1 on a side. So I guess they'll lose them both very soon.

All still holding here in zone 46. Last year it was late march when I started looking and there were still 1/2 rackers running around:nuts:. Looks to be the same this year.
