Just started Fox and Yote hunting in PA and NJ and was wondering what calls are best to use ?? Any suggestions ?

I like the bird and rodent type distress calls for fox. Something with high frequency and not all that loud. I think the reds are a little volume shy. "Match your hatch" though...same theory anyway. If you know there are alot of rabbits where you're at, than dont be afraid to try that. One place I'm at, the owner is losing alot of guinea hens and chickens, so I'm not afraid to go to that type of call even for fox on that property..

A for coyote, I havent had much success there myself. I may try more howling and growls or pup distress with them. But that will affect your success on fox....you have to pick your poison, but have fun. First couple of responses and you will be hooked.
