Check out my ALBUM pics Bill. This buck was taken on 12/12/08 with my 10 gauge Ithica Friday morning in the rain. It was green scored at-155 5/8 it will be officially scored for the deer classic next week at Rib's taxidermy.

Most guys from down south won't drive up there, and don't want the attension, and added pressure in there areas. I'm pretty sure there were some Salem, and Glous. county bucks that could run with some of the bucks in the classic shot this year!

mines also at ribs getting ready to be mounted and will be scored when the state guy drops in ... i have no clue what it will score...i tried to green score it my self and came out with something around 162 using online method and people were telling me that wasn't right so i have no clue hopefuly over 140 non typical

BA-Rack( the election day buck) is also at ribs waiting to be scored. I called to see if they scored it yet but they had'nt waiting for gary to come by and do the scoring. should be around 140. Will

Vonhess-- I have to call Gary Vail this Wed. to confirm him going to Ribs on Thurs. -- that's the plan anyway.

i didn't know gary scored deer. is he a p+y scorer?
he's close to me, may have to get him to measure a buck for me.



many big bucks from down south don't get shown. many, taken by farmers aren't even checked in. why draw attention to your areas. some guys have one place they hunt. when they take a big buck, every one knows were that deer came from. word travels fast.

Gary has been a P&Y scorer for a long time, I beleive he was one of the first in the state. He scored an eight I shot in ct. for me a few years back. He has a great relationship with Greg and probably scores the bigger racks for him. I think he just likes to put the tape to the bigger bucks anyway. I'm not sure he still lives where you think he lives UB, I beleive I heard he moved, not real happy with some of the development going on in his neiborhood. I haven't talked to him in a while.
