About How Many Grouse?

Did you See this year? Flushing And Takeing? I had about 6 Flushes and
Did not get a good shot at any!

we were flushing them. about 14 but only 1 good shot shot and i muffed it

Saw tons in archery. In buck, there was a lot of snow and we didn't see as many. Still a couple of flushes in and out of our stands. I haven't been upstate since New Year's, though. This is 3B.

Flushed well over a dozen during bear season. This past Monday we went out small game. Much to our suprise we flushed one. I took a Hail Mary shot. No dice. Then after walking another 30yds from where the first flushed bird we flushed two more, but not shots where available.

wow! its a shame that the PGC doesn`t have a program to raise and release grouse! A much faster and tougher bird to hunt! If they could do it with turkeys,witch are a very smart and elusive bird they could do it with Grouse!
