My First Red Fox ...

Got him yesterday afternoon on my first fox set ever. I have a great guide! It was my first real predator hunt, pretty neat stuff with about 3 or 4 inches of snow on the ground.

Actually saw two others while deer hunting earlier in the day, the biggest red I've ever seen and another about this size. Would have layed them down too but didn't want to ruin our deer hunt. The big one was barking, first time I had heard that in the woods.

It was something I always talked about doing and it was as cool and exciting as I thought it may be. Hopefully I get atleast another day or two in this season. We cut a lot of coyote tracks while deer hunting.

i just back from a set tonight.
called a family of coons out of a den tree. they talked to the tape player for ten minutes then left.
didn't shoot, not sure if it's legal. got to check up on that.
boarded a coon tonight before dinner, could of used those coon from tonight, go to do something tomorrow. :D
