Today was one of those golden days where everything came together right. We had a guy with us who had to leave early. The geese were not flying by 7:30 as they had been. Not by 8am either. At 8:15 we see a pair out a ways. A little flagging and they turn to us. Steve comes up with a nice double. Not 10 minutes later another pair come to the spread and
Steve has his three. Time for him to leave and not miss an appointment. Good way to start the day before work! Then the geese came in waves. We easily got our limits. We had clouds of geese swirling the spread. We had fun letting some land. Another day of just taking turns shooting. Great day. I'm glad I didn't go to coastal like I planned....that's on Thursday.
