look at the deer at the pile. i think its a buck that has already shed,because you can see little white bumps on its head. my dad thinks that it is just somethin on the camera or some thin but im not so sure. i dont think it is a button buck because it looks to big to be one.:huh:http://i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww63/Theosname8/CDY_0022.jpg

definitely looks like a button buck to me. If you look at some of the surrounding brush you can sort of use it as a gage as to how big the deer is. Also its legs look thinner and it has a young face.

It's a button. If he looks too big to be a button, remember this: it's getting on mid-January. Buttons aren't the fawns they were in October. They're a decent size now.

Thats what I thought it looked like, but if it is, that other deer is huge. :thup:

Or the blured deer is really tiny.:confused:

button that broke through a little

i've had does and buttons at 30 yards this week. they are inches shorter then the does now. very hard to tell them apart.

If it was a sheed it would have holes were the rack was shot deer and found that they were bucks and had a1/4 in. deep hole were the rack was the deer in the picture was a butten seen some early drop fawns get pretty big this time of year

Thanks guys. i thought it was a buck because the does in my area arent very big. i big one is 85-90 lbs live weight.

That thing in the right looks like a bird flying by, maybe thats what triggered the camera.

Yeah i think it is a button buck , sometimes they rub the velvet off their buttons.

Up in the NE now. We have had several bucks already without antlers. In fact I even found a shed yesterday. I'd say they are starting to loose their antlers now. About a third of the bucks I've been seeing have antlers.

well regardless now in that area we have a 6 pointer on the cam. cant wait to see wat he'll be like next year.:thup:
