Big Boar Coon!

On my first snare set I checked today here was this big old boar coon! He looked like a small bear cub.. weighed 34lbs

that is a big coon.
rub the heck out of that snare line right after you dispatch them. if you do it while the blood is still warm the line won't show on the leather as much.
i hope to have one of those in the morning. i have a couple cages out.

UB he skinned out beautiful no marks on the fur from the snare. I got him live this morning, and believe me he was not a happy camper!

Bigolebuck, On my way bowhunting tonight I had a GIANT coon in the middle of cape may ave hissing at my truck on the way past. He just ran right down the white line west. My buddy came by a few minutes later and the coon was in a tree on the side of the road. Rabies maybe??? Biggest coon i've seen in years, by far, and I ran them with dogs for a long time. First bend in the road before the power lines heading towards rt 49;). I'm not lying when I say it makes that coon in your picture look small:eek:.
