i want to get into turkey hunting and i hunt zone 34 can i just go purchase a permit or can i go to any store that sells hunting licenses and apply for the lottery. some people say u can just buy it and others say u have to appy for a lottery

Zone 34 is that deer zone 34 turkey zones are different and if you want to hunt the first two weeks or saturdays then you better get in the lottery. Last year I was denied both. Good luck

You can go to your local store and buy the permit.

zone 34 is for deer
same area is zone 22 for turkey
if you would like to hunt a or b week
apply for lottery online for those 2 weeks
when it comes to c through e weeks u can buy them over the counter as long as their not sold out
buy it early though ,they do sell out pretty quick

by the way "G" permit which is for sat hunting
apply for the lottery there are not enough of them for everyone
