Sighting in Bow

I just got my bow and christmas and the draw weight was 73lbs, then I backed out the limbs 3 full turns, do not know what my draw weight is now. I just sighted in my ten and twenty yard pin and they are almost touching, is this normal? I also started to sight in my thirty yard pin and it is also going to be close to the 20 yard pin, is this also normal?

Yes it can be normal. You might want to check your nock point and make sure it is level first of all.

forget about the ten yard pin shoot your bow at tens yards with the twenty pin and youll see they will hit the same spot ive never had a ten pin

The faster ( measured FPS ) the bow the closer together your pins will be because the bow will shoot the arrow on a flat trajectory to longer distances.

Your 10 and 20 yard pin usually won't hit in the same place. Again depending on the bow they may be very close but most likely not exactly in the same spot.

This is what I was thinking about doing, I have five pins so should I go all the way up to 60 yards?

They are not in the same spot but they are almost touching, I dont really see the need for two of these pins since a deers vitals are about 6-9in

sorry phil not the same spot but very close i just droped my ten pin and now have sight set 20 30 40 50 60
