Just received the Nov/Dec issue of PA Woods and Waters, the voice of the United Sportsmen of PA. They say that the proposed hike in the license fee will most likely not occur until 2010 due to the fact that there will be an outside study of the PGC's deer herd program. Sportsmens groups throughout the state are concerned about the scarcity of deer and the legislature wants to see the study results prior to voting on a license fee increase. I think this is a step in the right direction.
