Headed out near Mannington Meadows today w/ my dad in hopes of takin' down some honkers..Wind was outta the NNE..The snows started flyin high early and the canadas took a while longer to come off the water.. A lot landed off in another field & it was very hard to work the birds in our favor.. The birds we got to work were VERY wary too. But, at 15 mins after 10 we finally gotta flock to commit & we ended up shootin 5 times knockin down 5 birds between the 2 of us.. However, not thinkin' they were gonna go anywhere, one got up ended up flyin off :rolleyes: ..We tried lookin for it to no avail so we came away w/ 4 birds, no jewelry..
