Do one the cheap to start,but i like to buy the best for my cabbage 1st time.
Pistol hunters any help?
At a 110 yards pepsi 2 liter bottle after 2 shots, out to 50 with iron ...2 shoots to holes.

Got a Ruger Super RedHawk in 44mag. LOVE IT! haven't successfully gotten anything with it yet, but I did shoot at a bear with it. I've got a weaver 2.5 power scope on it. It's just enough. I can shoot soild 1 inch groups at 50yds. You might have to look for a new holster with a scope though.

I have a Smith 29 with a Burris 1.5 x 4. I have taken a bear,mule deer ,a pronghorn doe and several white tails with it.My longest shot was 80 yards on the pronghorn doe.I do not trust it out any farther.I have shot under two inches at a 100 yard with a 240 grain XTP ,but I just don't believe it has the power out that far to take an animal that far.
