Have a Summit Broad head back packer ss,PU off a barner.Thank You.
Its an open front bow hunter model.Great stand!In the spring I hunt with min clothing.
Now last chance,With more clothes,its getting harder and my winter fat is starting,to kick in, to get me where i need to be....alot higher.no cover.
I want to mod it for an climber,sit and stand,so im not soaking wet by the time i get to were I need to be.
I still strip down till I get to my spot,But want to modify.
I can mig,acees to a tig and can got the easy route to the a slide in contraption.
Hell, peice of rebar with a sleave of amor flex pipe insulaton with 2 90,bends will give me the result Im looking for
Cheap and simple.
I now were a belt on evry climb(Thanks 6 point,off shore custom.......you better 2 in the plane dodging height you hunt.
Can I get add ons before I frankiestien this rig???

Try a simple safety strap with buckle. Get up in stand, push seat against tree, feed safety strap between the armrest bar and seat bar - both sides(where they join to make a V at the end) buckle safety strap tight. Sit down on it facing the tree. As long as you can fit between the strap and the tree, wala, you got a sit down stand up climber now.

Had the same thought today,why drag around a piece of rebar,when a strap would work.
