Pheasant Stamps

My pheasant stamp expires on 12/31 and even though the state stops stocking birds on the WMAs this month, if I want to hunt pheasants for the rest of the season do I need to buy a 2009 pheasant stamp? I can't find them for sale on the NJDEP website. They should issue them like duck stamps that cover two partial years.

In NJ they don't do that. You need a 2009 P&Q stamp with a 2009 license to hunt in winter 'til the season closes but you can use them in the Fall when the 2009 season opens.
