I have inherted (sp) a Winchester Ranger model 120, has a 2 3/4 and 3" chamber, 12 gauge pump, mod. winchoke, shoot 00 buck 2 3/4 really well, I like much better then my old mossberg. Any thoughts would be greatly accepted. Also if anyone knows the years these guns where made would be a help also. Thanks in advanced. Buck Hunter.

Don't know the dates of mfr. but the Blue Book value is $165.00 for a gun in 95% original condition. I have the same gun in 20 gauge.

You mean 1200? If so made from 82-90.

I own the same shotgun. I bought it at the 5&dime at the Neshaminy Mall when I turned 18 in 1984. I paid $180 for it new back then. When I started hunting deer in Jersey, about 12 years ago, I bought a rifled barrel for it. The same barrell that is made for the Winchester model 1300 fits that gun. I put a scope on it and killed lots of deer with it. l haven't used it on birds in a long time. I have lots of fond memories of that gun. It always performed flawlessly.
