Go to the Pope and Young or Boone and Crockett websites. They should have a list of official measurers and you can see which one is closest to you.

I know this because I was having a rack scored this year. Then my kids knocked it off the wall and broke it.:eek::D

Barns, How did you make out with that? I remember your post about your kids breaking it. They wont let you get it scored now because it split?

Correctamundo!!! The skull is split down the middle. Can't be scored due to the doubt about inside spread. The taxidermist will fix it and I'll see if they'll score the mounted head without examining it. It's only in the 120s so I doubt there would be as much scrutiny as if it were a 200" typical. ;)

True but it would still be nice to have it scored for yourself.

I'm still going to try. Once I get the mounted head back I'll take that to the scorer. I measured it myself a couple of times. It ends up netting all the way down to about 120 and some change after side to side deductions. Therefore, no Pope & Young. Unless they score it higher than me, which I doubt they would :D. It will still go into the PA archery book. Anyway, I fully intend to shoot a bigger one some day so all is not lost. ;)

Right now it's put together with electrical tape. :D It actually looks pretty good.

Here are all the official B&C measurers for NJ:

Here is a list of Official Measurers in your state/province that you may contact to have your trophy officially scored. Official Measurers work on a volunteer basis for the Boone and Crockett Club and measure trophies according to their schedules. You should measure it yourself. Its pretty easy. You can print out the forms from the B&C site.

Its way easier then using a computer. If you can measure, you can easily score your deer. Try it, you'll see.
