Has anyone noticed any differance in accuracy between a ss barrel and blued? Not concerned with maint. just accuracy.

Nope. Most well made barrels will out shoot the shooter. It's more the manufacturing than the type of steel. I used to shoot long range rifle and saw guys do just fine with both types of steel.

The main reasons for the ss barrels are for maintenance. but even then that does not hold true.I have ss and blue barrels in the same calibers and see no differance in accuracy.

I see the ss being like a mirror on a sunny day out in the woods, I think the deer my pick up on it.

Most Stainless on firearms isn't the shiny stainless your thinking of. It is more of a matte nickle color. If you are worried about shine I'd worrie more about bluing. The advantage of SS is how it handles weather. If some was a lil rough on their guns I'd recommend SS.

Stainless looks nicer and weathers a little better, but will still corrode if not taken care of. Stainless takes longer to "season" compared to blued barrels, with more shots having to be fired to properly season the barrels.
