My lab is a daddy!

Just got home from my buddies house. Watched his female yellow lab give birth to six perfect puppies. Pretty wild to watch that whole event take place. There is a whole lot going on there.

We bred my male chocolate with his yellow female. First litter for us and the dogs. When I left she had 3 chocolate females, one yellow female and two yellow males. I think she was done. I am tired just from watching. I'll post some pics in a day or two.

I don't have the time to train a new puppy right now. I'm taking the pick of the litter but giving it to a close friend / hunting buddy. It's almost like I am keeping it myself. We hunt together all the time. At least I can watch the dog hunt.

Next litter in another 1 1/2 - 2 years I'll take one for sure.

She ended up pushing 4 more out after I left. 10 total in the litter.
4 chocolate females
1 chocolate male
2 yellow males
1 yellow female
2 black females

We'll be looking for some good homes soon if anyone is interested. I'll throw some pics up when the price is set.

Here is a pic of the sire from lasy year with my son. Another good day with the pheasants. I'll have to get some more pics loaded up. I'll try and get some pics of the mother. I need to get my buddy to log on the "Buck Barn" and reach out to those interested. He has some days off coming up. Maybe he'll get some time.
