With all do respect, but you are crazy.

The Tribute has been voted over and over again to be the best hunting and tree stand bow ever made. Its the smoothest drawing bow I have ever owned.

Absolutely no problems tuning it either.

Always been a Hoyt shooter, they make a rock solid product, built to last a lifetime, as many as I've dropped out of stands proves that. Purchased my first bowtech this spring, well Diamond - same thing, got the top of the line Marquis. Light, fast shot it well. Well, after only about 200 shots out of it, started hearing a creak coming up to full draw, worst fears were soon realized when the cam limb shattered and the bow blew up in my face. Good thing i wasn't injured. Sent it back, I'm sure they'll replace it, good thing my 10 year old Hoyt with over 1k shots out of it, a few drops from 30 ft. and 2 new strings later still shoots as good as the day I bought it as i'll be using it again this year, too late now to re-setup the bowtech when i get it back, plus i think i'll be selling it so I can purchase one of the new hoyts......If bowtech did as good a job building their bows as they do marketing them, they'd have a great product.

Bowtech Allegiance here. Love it at the moment, about 3 years old. Hearing they are also having their share of problems with the newer line up though as are most of the others.

I have a couple of thousand shots through my 4 year old Browning Prizm. No parallel limbs, hatchet cam, little idler, original string, but it shoots well, is pretty quiet, and no deer has laughed at me for using it on them.

Got my marquis back yesterday, they tried to not cover it under warranty because i put sims solid limb savers on in place of bowtechs worthless spider looking ones  I told them who do they think they're trying to fool here, I've been shooting bows a lot longer than bowtech's been around and if they think I'm gonna buy that BS, they're nuts. I said I'll tell ya what, don't cover it and i'll go onto every hunting/archery internet website I know and tell everyone how you tried to screw me. I told them i want it fixed and shipped back to me express today, and i'm not paying for the shipping. They said yes sir...it's ashame you have to threaten co's to honor their warranty. Got it back..new limbs, cam, wheel, string & cable. I had to pay for the string & cable..that's understandable, so i agreed. So, got it back, checked it out, looks good, but it amazes me that i can grab the cam, push it and watch the limbs twist so easily. Diamond/Bowtech is simply sacrificing too much strength in order to go lightweight...unacceptable to me. My next bow will undoubtedly be another HOYT...they build bows to last!

I have been shooting the Bowtech Liberty for 2 seasons now and I really like it. The string got nicked last year and I just had it replaced. The cam is very smooth. It draws back very easy and its shooting great. I am pleased with Bowtech.

Just picked up the Bowtech/Diamond Nitrous. Very nice bow, quiet, smooth, no shock whatsoever. Priced right.
Shot all the big names. I wanted QUIET.
I think speed is overrated considering we all shot bows 10 years ago that shot 240 fps and we did fine.
I'll take a 275 fps quiet bow over a 315fps "thwack" bow anyday.

I just bought the Diamond Marquis this summer, so seeing this scares the hell out of me. I have been please with the bow so far. The only thing I am changing is the drop away rest - back to my old whisker biscuit. My plans are for this new bow to last 10 years or so. The last one did (PSE BuckMaster).

Yo Rock, we shoot the same bow:cool: I was hoping my marquis would last a good while also, then if blew up in less than 200 shots  Just took my first few re-tuning shots yesterday since i got it back last week and i cringed as I pulled it back for that 1st shot after hearing a little creak..think it was the loop slipping, but anyway took a few shots and all's ok...so far. I loved the bow too, light, fast, smooth draw, holds like a rock, shoots great that's why I bought it...and before i even looked at any of the new hoyts, but regretting that decision now obviously. Though, for what it cost me, I'm going to keep it and use it as my primary bow so we'll see how long it lasts. If if goes again, i'll just keep sending it back but you can bet my old Hoyt will be kept tuned as my back-up bow.

I've been shooting a 2006 Constitution for about 8 months. Had the cam bushings replaced this spring. I shoot about 7 to 10 hours (weather permitting)a week. I've gone through 3 sets of strings and cables...just normal wear and tear. The only issue I've had after thousands of shots is the draw stop would creep long over time. A new stop and screw and problem solved. I only shoot dots and couldn't imagine dragging a conny up a tree.

got my newly repaired new Marquis re-tuned and ready to go again, breakin arrows out to 40. It's throwing a 27.5" 410 gr arrow at 295 with a 29" DL, it is an impressive bow...I just hope it holds up this time.

I shoot a Darton Maverick the past 4 yrs and haven't had any problems .After I bought mine my dad and best friend bought the same bow . When I bought it the rage was really Matthews , Parker and Bowtech . I tried them all and they never felt comfortable in my hand and that's a personal decision so I didn't buy what they try to shove down your throat on every TV commerical , but what felt right to me . I shoot it with A/C/C 's and a NAP 2 prong ( I know I need updating ) 29" draw ,125 grain Muzzy's and set @ 71 lbs. . I get tight groups out to 40 yds. and that's more than I'll ever shoot where I hunt . Never chronoed but advertised 315 fps IBO . I had a Golden Eagle prior to this bow and lasted 9 yrs. with nothing but 2 strings took plenty deer , so long ago it had an overdraw , do they even make them any more HA HA . Just make sure the bow fits you and it's not bought because some guy on TV said so . GOOD LUCK:):)

I've had a tribute for 3yrs now and can't imagine ever using a different bow for treestand hunting! i have it set @ 82lbs and it throws the arrows pretty good, same pin to 35yds and killed a really nice 9pter late seeason last year @ 58yds you can't beat a bowtech.

I've been using Bowtech since......2000( I think) In 2003 I bought the Extreme VFT. Every year since I've thought about upgrading, but I just can't justify spending the money when my 03 Extreme shoots so well. Nap drop away rest, G5 fixed heads. 1 pin to 40 yrds.(compensating hi or low slightly depending on distance) No complaints from me.

Gotta stick with the HOYT fans! My HOYT is several years old now and is no lnger considered any where near top of the line, doesn't shoot 300fps and isn't the smallest bow out there but I'll tell you what it IS: QUIET. To me that's the best thing going. It's been dropped, rained on and shot alot and it's still quiet and accurate.

Have used the following: Jennings, Browning, Moutaineer & Archery Research. Bought a Bowtech Allegiance in 2007. It's the smoothest, most accurate bow I've ever shot. After reading some of these other comments, though, I hope it holds up. I simply love this bow...
