Bleachin/cleaning antlers

Cleaning out my brother's estate I foun a pair of antlers that at one time had been mounted as they have 2 small nails in the base of each antler. The horns have been neglected and are turning black, brown and shades of yellow-what's the best way to clean them up?

Scrub them clean with warm water and soap. If still too dark for you, get some 30 - 40 % hydrogen peroxide from a beauty salon and soak till the color is what you want. Rinse very well or they will continue to whiten!:eek:
