The Gun liscense is good for two bucks only during the six day firearm season next monday . If you want to harvest a doe during the buck week (if your zone allows it )then you must purchase a zone specific doe permit for that zone you hunt in, If you have not taken 2 bucks during the six day firearm season then you must buy a buck stub for that season . If you did not harvest any bucks during the six day firearm season you still can only take one buck during the permit season. I believe you must purchase the buck stub at the time of the permit .

When you get a extended bow permit you can shoot only does unless you buy a buck permit at the same time as you buy your extended permit. I guess this keeps people from getting the permit only, then when they shoot a buck they go and buy a buck tag. During the 6 day gun season you can only shoot 2 bucks on that license. If you shoot 2 bucks ( spelled you have better luck than I do ) you can only shoot does during the extended shotgun season. If you shoot 1 buck during the 6 day shotgun you can shoot 1 buck during the extended gun permit season and does. It's all written in the regs. for hunting so make sure you read them before you shoot something your not supposed too because if your caught it could mean not being able to do what you love to do and thats hunting. ( brother in-law lost his hunting rights for 2 years for something foolish so don't let it happen to you )
