12-2 Pheasant Report with Pix!!

Limited out by 7:20 this morning. Shot a hen first then a rooster. Saw tons of birds early on, flying down from the roost. Not too many other guys so that made for a more comfortable hunt.

Thanks for the report. I don't make it out there but I think Ray is out today with a bunch looking for birds. Nothing like dead fowl on the tailgate.

Today there was enough birds for everyone and then some. 40 minutes before shooting time a hen was walking through the trucks in the parking lot, 10 feet from my hood at one point :D :eek: Dogs were going nutz, barking at her, she never left. I'm sure she got it when that old timer was standing in front of his hood with 10 minutes until shooting time....:D

Atta boy Steve-O, way to hit em! Russ, I was out at Colliers Mills again and didnt fair well. We got a late start and didnt kick up any birds. Tell your dog to hurry up with those pups, I need the help! My wife asks me everytime I get off the phone with you if I am getting one. It was nice just to get out and walk. We did see 4 huge cock birds on the way out feeding in a safety zone. We took some pictures and watched them all walk across the street right onto someones property where they stayed.

I'm hitting the rack! Got to be up in 4 hours to kill my deer in the back of the house today.
