opening day quiet ?

Shot a button @715 today not seeing alot of deer durening bow no leagle bucks

Went out fri w/ a friend and put him my tree and I went elsewhere. He saw 4 and I saw 7 deer inc a large 8. Neither one of us could get a shot w/ the bow, now today I go out and see nothing all afternoon. What a difference a couple days make.

When this wind stops they'll be on the move , Hunted in zone 25 and there were no shots all day , the deer held tight all day . It figures ! But it was great being out there all day with no B.S. to deal with . :thup:

hunted in zone 34 monday nothing hunted in zone 30 tuesday nothing got to try something differnt ???:huh:

i went out monday in zone 30. saw nothing . i set up in my normal spot for the first half of the day then moved to a open field for the second half. i will say that the wind was gusting throughout the day. i was headed up tuesday also but the wife and kids where sick had to stay home. i could feel tuesday was the day to be there.

I hunted a food plot on my farm and saw 13 does and no bucks.. I shot 1 of the doe's and went to the same box in the afternoon and saw 4 more does and no bucks .. I shot 2 more in the afternoon ..We have more does around this year than I have seen in a long time we try to keep the buck to doe ratio even .. During archery season it seemed like the ratio was even but now the doe's are everywhere.

I was out monday afternoon, had two spikes walk right under the stand and a doe pass by through the thick brush. Tuesday afternoon I got in the stand at 2:30 and at 3 had a big 10 point sneak up behind me, saw me before I saw him, got the gun up but he was running away and couldnt take a shot! Nothing the rest of the afternoon.
