Awsome buck I guess you will be entering that deer in the new jersey outstanding deer. If 180 inches doesnt get you in then you atleast get in the 200 lbs club.
I cant wait to see it there, you will be entering it right?

NICE BUCK!!
Give some details: stand? or ground?, bow type, arrow type, shot placement, tracking. How far did it go. Any signs (rubs scrapes)of this one were you hunted. Did you scout and see this big guy earlier in the season. Any pictures of him earlier in the season.
Congrats on your trophy & Great job.

Just a reminder!!!!!! Make sure your weight of your deer is from a certified scale. If not, before you have him cut up, get him weighed on a certified scale for your 200 pound club entry in the classic. Nice Job.

If you killed that deer then congratulations because it is a fine deer. But remember deer dont get that big if they are shot when they are button bucks. If you did not shot that deer then you are a coward for posting the picture of another hunters kill and posting it as your own. But let me say that if in fact that is your deer then congrats on a fine animal.

stemming from another post. He shot three buttons, said he wasn't to proud of it, didn't even want to put a pick up. Says he shot it only because he had a shot. But is looking for the racks. Got slammed.
Then the very next day WAALAA, he shoots a rack. Ironic?

I thought the same thing, he was getting hammered for his post, I think it was (great morning). Where he shot a button buck, and then the next day he shoots a buck of 2 lifetimes:eek:. I thought either he is the luckiest S.O.B, or full of it, which one is it marty?

The photo has no time stamp. The time stamp you are seeing is when it was uploaded to the site.
Where he shot a button buck
Not just one, three. Which there is nothing wrong with, only because its legal.

It's always the same story when someone shoots a great deer.
1. As far as I'm concerned shoot all the button bucks you want because I'm a meat hunter myself but I do love a great rack for the wall.
2. I don't know about where you hunt but trying to manage deer where I am is next to impossible. So if I pass up a deer that may be a great buck next year may mean he ends up being killed by another guy who will shoot anything with fur. ( witnessed guys shooting at a group of does during the shotgun season so I know they don't care if it should be a buck or not:eek: ) As a side note to this they were not guys that I hunt with but a group of people who also hunt where I am.
3. I would only try to manage deer and not shoot button bucks if I had permission to hunt a very large tract of land ( not a lot of that in NJ ) that I knew the deer would make it thru to next year.
4. Now if that isn't your deer in the photo then shame on you. But if it is true then I will say congrats to on a great deer and don't listen to all the negative feedback because you know the truth and thats all that matters.
Good luck in the future.

If it was true he would be back on this post. But he ironically disappeared. I think he is a fraud. And i will continue thinking that until he can prove otherwise.

I dont know marty so I can not judge him. The one thing I do find funny is no one is talking about this deer. On the other sights I visit you always hear about big deer harvested. Why has no one heared of this massive 180 inch deer.

hey guys you might want to back off marty if he is telling the truth you are just making yourselves look bad he says in his last post on his other thread that he is in cabo marlin fishing for the next few weeks if that is true that would explain why this is not the talk of the town we will see how this plays out soon enough for now give him credit for shooting a buck bigger than most of us will ever see in the wild.

That gives him an excuse not to reply to the posts, the guy is full of s#it and thats that. If by chance he did kill this one good for him but I think hes a slob hunter for killing "another " BB just because it was there to shoot, and then say it nothing to be proud of. If I am ever desperate enough to go back to shooting 40lb'ers I would post pics and be proud of anything I shot.
Don't bitch that there are no bucks then condone someone that shoots a dink BB.
EMK, ur the type of person that make people stop replying.....u probably questioned the 78 pound striper back in the day that made mcreyonlds say screw this and disappear....what is ur problem.....do u get jealous if someone catches one bigger than u.....if i was marty, i would say ffff u and leave this site for all the bullshit u gave him about his LEGAL buttonbucks and his trophy deer.
I said if he did shoot it good for him .
go back and see where i said theres nothing wrong with shooting a BB because its legal, I don't because I don't believe in it but I sure as hell would be proud of what ever I shot.
Thats where this started, do some more reading.
Trust me I could care less if someone shot a P&Y out of my stand, obviously I either wasn't there or couldn't get the job done.
Only thing worse than a guy shooting deer just because it was there and not be proud of it is someone running his mouth about something he obviously knows nothing about.
ur biography says it all.... and second ur opinion
Everyones entitled to their opinion. And right back at you Jr..

OUCH!
Marty, I'm sorry I didn't get to this sooner. My apologies.:o Congratulations on your deer
- To all the doubters...I'm on board with your thought process here. The guy shoots a couple button bucks, get's razzed a bit, then comes back with a monster :please: ...I hear ya. BUT I can't sit here and let ya beat the guy up over it. If I do, #1 it's not fair to Marty, who until proven otherwise was simply contributing to the community via his report (something we wish everyone would do) #2 It's gonna discourage others from posting reports in the future. I'm sure I don't have to spell out what happens if people stop posting reports :(
Going forward we're not going to allow disruption of members reports. There's not one good thing that comes from it. I hope everyone understands :)
