Question? Why nothing about dispatching? Is it just too R-rated? I'm not a trapper, just curious. One day I might get into it and you seem like the right guy to talk to.

trappers know about dispatching. there are many ways to do it. most people can't kill a animal at 3'. a lot of dog guys can't see a k9 killed either. it's just easier not to talk about dispatch. it gets everyone upset. even guys that kill deer and any other animal, but thats done at 20 yards, not 3'.

i've had ride alongs before. i don't get at it till late january till march. it wouldn't be a problem. let me get a good line out and get dialed into whats going on, and we'll talk.

I gotcha. What do use to trap with? Snares, Traps, other stuff? Where can you buy that type of stuff?

Yeah dispatch can get a lil messy. I dunno how some of those guys do it with clubs. I saw a DVD on coyote trapping and thats all he used. Of course sometimes it took several swings and one time a coyote got up in his jeep still alive. You ask me I'll spend that one bullet to make sure it's done. I'll tell ya what though it does get fun when you catch something you don't want or ur not supposed to, especially dangerous stuff like bobcats. Man that is one pissed off kitty! They are MEAN! Imagine how to get that out of your trap and still be away. Their is a way but it's not pritty.
