Thanksgiving hunt at Glassboro

Took the puppies out to work them on some big birds. I normally don't hhuint my pups on pheasant the first year but it's Thankgiving and tradition to go on a pheasant hunt. On the way in to the field we put up a cock bird and drop it but we can't find it. We go in to the field and work it 3 times nothing but on 4th time thru dog goes on on semi-point and a cock flushes right under her nose, we drop it. on the way back out we check area where we saw the first one.There it was lying dead in some brush. We only got 2 birds but my buddy and his son got there limit of 4. They also heard a turkey gobbling back in the woods

All the shooting woke me up this morning, if that gives you an idea. I don't know for sure how many people were there but there was some shootin going on.

went out thanksgiving there i say it was less peps then years in the past.went out friday only a handfull of people.
