Mathews cam change ?????

Pu a mathews out back from a barner.28 inch draw for him I needed a 29.Dropped it to a shop in NJ near Vineland,can`t remember the name at this time,they changed out the cam.
Been shooting this bow for a year,but it just isan`t comfy.Just can`t seem settle in at ancor.Took off the handle,that helped.
As i was looking at the bow last night I had a thought.
If they changed the cam,wouldn`t that effect the string length?
Should have the string been changed as well?
Any thoughts?Thanks.

No the strings do not have to be changed sounds like you needed a 29.5 cam to fit you better

the string and cables should be changed if and when you change the cam, for sure

Mathews uses the same length string and cables on each model bow 99% of the time. When draw lenght needs to be changed, the cam is changed out but the strings and cables are the same. Call Mathews and they will confirm this also.:thup:

Thanks for the replies,I have one weekend left.Not gonna change a thing for now.

Shot my friends Drenalin @ 29.Felt great,and I killed bottle caps.
Might try a new release before the cam change.
