I just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here. Looking foward to coming home in mid January on leave and maybe hit the deer woods for a couple of days. It'll be nice to sit in a tree and see green stuff and maybe some snow and not all of this darn SAND and Date trees.
Good luck everyone with your hunting adventures.

My family and I also say thank you for your service. If you need a place to hunt, please ask me, I have plenty of room. Nice tracking snow here and about 28, perfect conditions. Are you a Medic over there Doc?

Hey DoOver,
I'll get in touch with you about hunting up in NY, I don't see it happening while I'm home on leave. But I'll gladly try to make arrangements to come up to your neck of the woods next season. OK?
Yea I'm a medic here in Iraq. Been a Medic in the military for the past 26 years, Between the Army and the Navy. I basically do sick call here at my camp for our guys and the Iraqi Correctional Officers that we're training here. Well I have to get back to work here, Talk to everyone later.

That would be swell Doc. In January we will just have grouse and pheasants. My neighbor is the Mountain Spring lodge and they raise and release pheasants so there are always plenty. Next year would be great for deer. Sat late morning today in my tree. I came back around 13:30 to check the bird in the oven. There was a huge buck across the valley standing under a hemlock tree. I could see him plainly from my front door. And he could see me. No way to aproach him. I should see him in the morning.
I am a CFR in my fire dept. Not many trauma calls, but we're dedicated.
You can goggle MountainSpringLodge.com and map quest 13753. I will wave to you. Plenty of farm land here.
Take care.
Brian
