u have an expensive taxidermist habit
You don't know the half of it. There are 23 mounted animals in the hunting cabin - including 2 full-body mount bears and a full-body mount bear. If I had been the trigger man on that coyote, he'd be on the wall too. I skinned him out myself and had the pelt tanned for $99.
Joe D has spent $1100 in two years :D. At least I spread mine out every few years. :D
I'm pretty friendly with the taxidermist. He lets me give him $50 here and there as I see him. As long as he's got the full amount when I pick up the mount.
One last note: I've been hunting (legally ;)) since 1981. There were a few years that I only saw the taxidermist at the local store. :(:D

Scott,
Thanks for the great shots of all your deer & the camp! Our camp is in Tioga county (Gaines) My kids absolutely love it up there! This year is my sons first year to hunt on his own lic. He's really looking forward to going this year & is counting down the days for the start of Archery! Then it's off to camp even if we both get our Bucks during Archery.
Good Luck this year Scott!

It was well worth it. Hopefully I'll be seeing him again this year. Of course it would have to be a bigger deer than last year.

how do i post pics guys?
First you have to post the picture you want onto a hosting site like www.photobucket.com (http://www.photobucket.com) then click on the picture to open it up when it's open right click on it then click on properties then copy the URL/Address & paste that between these two things and put that in a post. That should do it for you!

Here is the deer i took last monday night , dressed out at 172lbs 17 inch spread 20 and 21 mains ,10 and 8 inch g2's ,4 inch bases . live wheight of 223lbs. and got it all on video. awsome deer for the area with all the pressure of the public land and neighbors ,plus the poaching at night. Havent killed a buck here for about 5 years a combination of waiting to see a big one and also having soem better spots ,he isnt even the biggest deer i have been seeing .even though some do get killed some do make it .

I don't know that name but I've been to the Birch Creek Tavern and the place across the street. Is it Blue Jays? We also used to shop at JJ Outfitters back in the day. Our go-to outdoor place was Loyalsock Outfitters on Route 87 outside or Dushore.
Where was Sandie's?

Sandies was outside of mildred if your going to dushure make a right past the church then down the way about a 1/2 mile. There's a hunting club down there on the way forget the name. My pop is good friends with the owner of birchcreek that's where we go for a cold one. But for sandies and old married couple ran it for years until sandy died, I'll ask pop what rd. it's on and the club down there.
