IM SHOOTING A 50 CAL T/C OMEGA USING 100 GRAINS OF PYRODEX AND 250 GRAIN T/C SHOCKWAVE SABBOTS. I SHOT YESTERDAY AND WAS DEAD NUTS AT 50 YARDS AND WAS 3" LOW AT 100 YARDS. I WAS SHOOTING FROM A REST THAT HAS A VISE FOR THE FORESTOCK AND A CRADLE FOR THE REAR STOCK. WHEN I SHOT AT 50 THE VISE JUMPED BUT THE SHOT WAS STILL THERE. WHEN I SHOT AT 100 I HELD THE FORSTOCK DOWN TO KEEP IT FROM JUMPING AND IT WAS 3" LOW. IM THINKING THAT I MAY HAVE PULLED DOWN AND MADE THE SHOT FALL OR IS THIS ABOUT RIGHT? i DONT THINK I WILL HAVE A PROBLEM HITTING A DEER, I JUST WANT IT AS ACCURATE AS I CAN GET IT AT 100 YARDS.

I think you are correct BUT w/ that load you should be right on at 130 yards if you are dead on at 50. I would shoot the gun again at 100 and use sand bags or we used a grain bag (corn ) and see what happens.. How many shots did you shoot at 100?

I shoot the same load and bullets out of my Omega and if I am a inch high at 50 I hit about an in low at 100.I group an inch at 100 all day as long as swab the barrel after 3 shots. If I shoot more than that between swabs my groups start to spread.
