A friend of mine who's tied in w/ the federation has said that it is strongly getting some approvals, but it involves hunting on private land only on sundays and w/ a bow. Nothing has passed yet. The other item up for vote is 150 ft distance from a structure instead of the current 450 ft and also w/ a bow only.

once agian it will be asking for to much. WMA are also visited by briders & as you & i know they don't like hunters,
maryland has sunday hunting ,but only on privite ground.... thats how it will pass here, but push the wma's and we'll see what happens;)
sometimes we're our own worst well you know the saying..
i understand we all don't have priv land to hunt & depend on wma's, so lets get our foot in the door first, & maybe, maybe... expand from there
this season i'm hunting on a thin budget, i losted the free priv grounds we hunted for years to leasees. we had the op to lease it first but the money was so high we couldn't do it, so it's gone to the bigger pockets @ 48 dollars an ac, thats the going price for farm lease by the way,

There are enough days of hunting already during the season. Lets keep sundays a day for the family and rest.

there r enough days to hunt ..... if you dont work 5 to 6 days (sat) most of us only get sat so from lets say sep 15 to jan30 there r a totalof 20 days total. thats this season now factor sep 85 degreess to hot to travel with raw meat, then there is work ot. then there is storms and then theres weddings, birthdays, housework, truck problems,. and then comes the brutal cold of dec, jan and after all of that you may get 10 of those days (being generous). now figure the cost...... sunday sounds fine by me. theres not many guys out on mon-f mornings animals get plenty of down time.:)
