Sportsmen and Sportswomen. This is going to be a great event.A year ago we were fighting Bill A-3275.,which would have done away with hunting ,fishing and trapping in our State.Remember the rally's at Mullica Hill and The Battle of Monmouth. That was less then a year ago.Come out and support the NJOA.Because of the NJOA and you Sportsmen and Sportswomen,we are now being heard in Trenton.See you there.

Racker....The NJOA.was formed last year to fight the Bill A-3275,which would have done away with Hunting Fishing and Trapping in N.J.Our rally's in Mullica Hill and the Battle of Monmouth led to the defeat of Panter and Karcher at last years election in District 12.The NJOA,now has a full itime lobbyest in Trenton. He is the only one paid The rest of us are volunteers. The NJOA is getting stronger day by day.Support the fund raising dinner. You won't be sorry.

After a long and hard decision I have made up my mind!!!! I WILL NOT BE ATTENDING!!!

I base my decision on the soul reason that I'm in disagreement with the political stance the NJOA has taking in regards to the congress seat Jim saxton is vacating!!!! I feel it is foolish of the NJOA to support a democrat for this seat!!!! I understand there position that they like the D's legislation record towards sportsman in this state, However I think the NJOA is forgetting that this is a numbers game!!!! The majority will win and if the D's have the majority we will loose out in the long run!!!!! The person you are supporting is only a small voice as the majority of D's will dictate otherwise!!!! I'm asking that the NJOA rethink there strategy????? Even if a few R's disagree with gun, hunting and fishing law, Most of them will vote along party lines and give sportsman what they want!!!!!! The D's will take things away from us!!!!! The bear hunt is a prime example!!!!!!! Deer restrictions are next!!! Sorry But this is how I feel and I won't attend based on the political stand the NJOA has taken!!!!!

Welcome to the New Jersey Outdoor Alliance 1st Annual Southern Region dinner.

Our gathering is more than a celebration of our outdoor heritage; it is also the anniversary of the “Mullica Hill Rally.” Most of you will remember the rally at Mullica Hill as the kickoff of the NJOA campaign to adopt the cause of New Jersey’s sportsmen and sportswomen. It was a watershed event that united anglers, hunters and trappers and captured the attention of Trenton.

Today, the NJOA is much expanded from the one that stood before you at Mullica Hill. We are now a large grassroots coalition of outdoorsmen and outdoorswomen dedicated to the principles of wildlife conservation and the advancement of fishing, hunting and trapping as the foundation of conservation methodology. We are staffed by dedicated volunteers including five officers, five directors, three managers and more than twenty representatives. We have a highly regarded lobbying firm advancing our interests and a 14 member council that includes some of the largest and most respected outdoor organizations in the state and around the country.

Of course, the success of any volunteer organization is truly dependent on the commitment and accomplishments of those that often go unnoticed and so we express our deepest appreciation to each of you. I’d also like thank the people, companies and clubs that have provided the spectacular array of door prizes and auction items for our benefit. Please patronize these sponsors as they have proven their commitment to our common cause.

Finally, on behalf of everyone of the NJOA I’d like to recognize the outstanding efforts of the southern region volunteers in preparing this wonderful event.

So, take this opportunity to join in the camaraderie, enjoy the celebration of our past accomplishments and share in the prospects of a conservation-minded New Jersey.

Good fishing, hunting and trapping to each of you.
