My wife delivered our first baby girl on Thursday night at 8:20PM a month earlier than expected! She was born 5 lbs 15 oz and 18 1/2" in length, so unfortunately because she was 4 weeks early her little lungs are not fully developed! She is on oxygen and is struggling to breath fully on her own. She is so beautiful, but it's killing me to see all those tubes hooked up to her to help her breath. The doctors really don't have a time frame this will take for her lungs to heal and develop so we will have to take it day by day. Today is Sunday and my wife is still in the hospital after having an emergency C section & now is dealing with a few complications of her own. It is going to be a tough road for everyone, I am mentally exhausted and ready to get this all over with and bring my family home. If you could remember our family in your prayers it would appreciated. God bless all of you

Thanks guys so much for the support and prayers it means so much especially during tough times! My wife is now home and our little baby girl is doing so well, her breathing has improved and she has begun to eat from a bottle instead of an IV. It surely is a miracle and we feel so blessed. Thank you all once again for the prayers and support! God bless:)

Prayers sent bigolebuck!

We had our second daughter on the 5th and I can only imagine your anguish. I'm sure her and your wife will pull through this and baby will be bouncing in your arms at home before you know it!

Dont worry, Those doctors and nurses have dealt with this many times. They work wonders with premies. My grandaughter was born early and tiny 2 1/2 years ago and you cant keep up with her now. Complications after a C-section are also not uncommon. In time they will both be fine.
Congradulations.

my wife and i went through same deal, she was our first, 6 weeks early, 3 pounds 14 ounces, stayed in the hos. for two weeks on her own with all the tubes and wires. when they said it was time to have this baby i almost fell over (what do you mean, i still have a month and a half to get ready)! there has been some set backs over the years, some physical comp. on her right side, and a pair of glasses, but she is as normal a 7 year old as you can get and getting stronger everyday!
