Scents!?

Anybody ever use the still steaming product lines...especially the Buck Semen or Rutting Buck urine? I was thinking about picking up a bottle and putting this out...Not really having any luck with deer coming thru my trails...I have put out Doe Estrous and grunted in a buck but never came to a good shooting lane....wanting to see if maybe the Buck Semen may drive his curiousity thru the roof and give me a shot! Whats your take on this guys? The bucks dont seem to be moving too much right now...wanna try to get one in bow range...:thup:

Have never tried any myself, try to set up on the trails they are going.However I just read an article in Bowhunting Mag saying if you do want to use scent try something not easily found in your area, reason being if you buy a scent from Dicks 50 other hunters in your area may also, so now the deer will associate that scent with humans.

You cant beat a pair of hock glands cut off a road killed buck. Keep a sharp knife in the truck.

This is the only scent I will use. Mature deer seen it, heard it, and smellled all the stuff on the market. They usually associate it with trouble.

I have had good luck with code blue standing exstrous. Last Tuesday I had two different 8pts come in. The first I couldnt get a shot on but the second I bagged.:D

I found that I had the best results with CODE BLUE - doe in estruse, last week a buck came in within 12 min. of putting it out and a second buck 20 min. after that . Never saw that happen with TINK's # 69
